Guiding Light Cottage

Guiding Light Cottage is a nicely renovated 4 bedroom beach cottage and a popular choice for family vacations to Tybee Island. It offers a saltwater pool that measures 12ft x 23ft and offers depths from 3ft 5in to 5ft 2in. Plus, guests can choose to add on optional pool heat for vacations March – December. Additional outdoor amenities include a fully fenced back yard, patio with seating area, outdoor bed, a fire pit, gas grill, charcoal grill, and an outside shower with both hot and cold water.

Located just a short stroll from the beach and from Memorial Park which has a playground, tennis, basketball, volleyball, Library, gym, and YMCA. The ground level of the home has a sitting room, kitchen and dining area, half bath, and the master suite. The second level has 3 bedrooms, a family room, and a full guest bath.

The kitchen features all stainless appliances and a table that seats up to 9. Additional dining space is located on the screened porch directly off the kitchen. Accessed from the porch is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. The master suite is furnished with a King size bed, 32in flat-screen TV with Bluray player, Bose CD player/radio, and a full bath with a large walk-in shower (no tub).

The family room on the second level has a 50in flat-screen TV and a full-size sleeper sofa. (The fireplace is decorative only). Off the family room is a King guest bedroom, and Queen guest bedroom and a guest bedroom furnished with a double bed and a day bed. There is a full bath located on this floor with a beautiful claw foot tub/shower.

This home contains many extras including WIFI, Bose iPod dock, books, and more! Off-Street Parking for 3 regular-sized vehicles. Guiding Light Cottage is pet-friendly for 1 dog only, with an additional fee.

Heated Pool Option: Guests may choose the option of adding pool heat to their reservation for an additional $25.00 per day for the length of reservation. Not available in January and February.
